VDG member succumbs to bullet injuries
Jammu: An injured member of the Indian army-controlled Village Defense Guard has succumbed to his bullet injuries in a hospital in the Udhampur district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to the Kashmir Media Service, the VDC member, identified as Mohammad Shareef (48), was injured during a clash in the Chochru Gala heights Seri Gallah-Basantgarh area of the district. He succumbed to his injuries in the hospital, officials said.
Indian troops launched a massive cordon and search operation in the area.
