Poor quality snatches over half of India’s spice market: GTRI
New Delhi: Poor quality of products particularly spices have deprived India of its more than half of the international market and its exports squeezed m to lowest, said an economic think tank Global Trade Research Initiative (GTRI).
Accordin g to Kashmir Media Service, every day new countries are raising concerns about the quality of Indian spices, the GTRI said, adding that it is being realized internationally that Indian products quality is at decline and it is a serious concern.
India must look towards the products quality but Indian government is bent upon to crush political opponents despite have a check on the products, the experts at GTRI revealed.
Lack of transparency and ongoing quality concerns could threaten over half of the country’s spice shipments, GTRI report said.
