BJP orchestrated Poonch attack for political gain, ex Indian Punjab CM Channi
New Delhi: In a startling revelation, former Indian Punjab Chief Minister and Congress leader Charanjit Singh Channi has said that the recent attack on an Indian Air Force (IAF) convoy in occupied Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch district was a pre-election stunt orchestrated by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
According to Kashmir Media Service, Channi condemned the attack, labeling it as a BJP ploy to manipulate public sentiment for electoral gains.
“These are all stunts and not terrorist attacks. These are nothing but BJP’s pre-poll stunt. There is no truth in it. BJP is playing with people’s lives and bodies,” Channi asserted, accusing the ruling party of callously endangering lives for political advantage.
The Congress leader further claimed that such incidents are recurrent during election periods, insinuating a pattern of political manipulation by the BJP. “Whenever elections come, such stunts are played. Similar attacks happened during the last general elections,” Channi remarked, casting doubt on the authenticity of the attack and questioning the BJP’s integrity.
