Hindutva goons ruthlessly beat up Muslim trader in Karnataka state
Bangalore: In yet another hate crime against followers of Islam in India, a group of goons associated with the Hindutva outfit Bajrang Dal brutally thrashed a Muslim cattle trader in Karnataka state.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the victim identified as Bande Nawaz was transporting two bulls, a buffalo calf, and a cow from Babaleshwar to Vijayapura in the state when the Hindutva goons intercepted the vehicle. Following the interception, the goons thrashed Nawaz brutally, leaving him bleeding profusely.
A video making rounds on social media showed the victim’s body having severe wounds and blood clotting markings.
Following the incident that sparked outrage, many called for stern punishment against the group of Hindutva goons, which was reportedly made up of 15-20 people.
A case has been filed at the Babaleshwar police station concerning the attack.
