Two persons die, several hurt in different incidents in IIOJK

Srinagar: Two persons have died and many others including school children injured in different incidents occurred in different areas of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).

According to Kashmir Media Service, a youth died and his two brothers were injured in a road accident in Sangaldan area of Ramban district of IIOJK on Thursday.

An official said that all three siblings were on way to their home in Gool from Jammu with newly purchased three-wheeler auto which skidded of the road in Sangalan Ramban.

Meanwhile, in Srinagar, man died after he was buried under a sand slide while extracting sand in Bijbehara area of Islamabad district of IIOJK on Thursday.

An official said that a man identified as Gulzar Ahmad Dar (35), son of Abdul Rashid Dar, a resident of Check Panjpora Bijbehara, was buried under the sand slide.

He was taken to the hospital immediately, where doctors declared him as dead. Police have taken cognizance of the incident.

In another incident occurred in Achabal area of Islamabad district, a teacher and a student were injured on Thursday after a branch of Chinar tree fell on them outside the school in Hardutwooru area of Achabal Islamabad of IIOJK, the officials said.

An official said that students were taking classes outside when the branch suddenly fell on them. “A fourth-grade primary student Hazik Fayaz, son of Fayaz Ahmad Ganie and a teacher Mukhtar Ahmad Wani have received injuries,” he said.
