International Kashmir Conference organized by Jamaat-e-Islami in Islamabad
Islamabad: International Kashmir conference was organized by Jamaat-e-Islami Azad Jammu and Kashmir in Islamabad.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the conference was presided over by Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Azad Jammu and Kashmir Dr. Muhammad Mushtaq Khan.
Addressing the conference, Deputy Amir Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Liaquat Baloch said that Gaza and Kashmir are victims of aggression by Israel and India, but Kashmiris are showing courage and valor despite all the difficulties and BJP led Modi government is destroying the freedom spirit of Kashmiris through state terrorism. He assured the Kashmiri leadership that the Pakistani nation stands by the side of the Kashmiris. The solution of Kashmir and Palestine is indispensable for world peace.
Dr. Muhammad Mushtaq Khan while addressing the gathering said that Kashmiris must get their inalienable right to self-determination till then peace will remain a dream in south Asia. The sacrifices of Kashmiri martyrs will never be allowed to go in vain, he added.
“We will continue to highlight the issue of Kashmir at every forum and will remain united till freedom of Kashmir from Indian rule”, he said, adding it is need of hour that a national policy should be formulated on Kashmir.
Other speakers called on all OIC countries to boycott India to crush it. Kashmiris abroad have played a very important role to highlight the Kashmir issue.
Other speakers of the conference were including Khalid Khurshid, Abdul Rasheed Turabi, Hasan Ibrahim, Maulana Imtiaz Siddiqui, Maulana Saeed Yusuf, Malik Muhammad Hanif, Maulana Attaullah Shahab, Kashmiri Hurriyat leaders Dr. Ghulam Nabi Fai, Mahmood Ahmad Sagar, Kashmir Noor Al Bari, Mushtaq Ahmed, Raja Jahangir Khan, Kashmir Movement Europe and British presidents Muhammad Ghalib and Raja Fahim Kayani, Manzoor Qadir Dar, Nabila Ayub, Shaista Safi, Ghulam Muhammad Safi, Muhammad Altaf Butt, Muzamil Thakur, Nazir Ahmad Qureshi, Zafar Qureshi and Amjad Chaudhry.
