People express disinterest in Modi govt’s Agniveera scheme for joining Army

New Delhi: The Modi government has also targeted the Indian army for the lust of power and the people have expressed their disinterest in the Agniveera scheme imposed by the Modi government to join the Indian army.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the Modi government has introduced a very meaningless Agniveer scheme for joining the Indian Army. It has been said that after the launch of Agniveer scheme, the youth are losing the spirit to join the Indian Army.

Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu has expressed serious concern over the Agniveer scheme by the Modi government.

He said the Agniveer scheme has severely discouraged the spirit of Indian youth to join the army. He criticized the Modi government over the Agniways scheme and said now the spirit of serving the country is disappearing among the youth.

Earlier, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi also criticized the Agniveer scheme for the Indian army by the Modi government. He said the Modi government has imposed the Agniveer scheme by force. “I have no doubt that the Modi government does not hesitate to trade the youth of the country for its political interests”, he added.

It should be noted that under the Agni Veer scheme, Indian youth are inducted into the army for a few years and they are not eligible for salary superannuation and other benefits.
