ED attaches properties two business partners in Srinagar
Srinagar: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has attached seven properties worth Rs 1.56 crore of two business partners in Srinagar, Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the ED agency attached seven immovable properties worth Rs 1.56 crore of Imran Baba and Sageena Yaseen, partners of M/s Baba Enterprises under the provisions of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act , 2002 in Srinagar.
An official said that ED has provisionally attached seven immovable properties worth Rs 1.56 crore of M/s Baba Enterprises. The attached properties include 17 marlas land in Mouza Barinambal, 26 marlas land and a residential house in Srinagar.
It is worth noting that while the Hindutva BJP\RSS regime is encouraging non-Kashmiris to buy land and property in IIOJK, it is confiscating and destroying properties of Kashmiris, on one pretext or another, in their own homeland.
The Indian authorities have, so far, seized hundreds of properties across the occupied territory. The aim is to strangulate the Kashmiris economically and force them to renounce support to the ongoing self-determination movement.
