New Delhi: India has become partner to Israel in committing genocide of the unarmed Palestinians earlier by providing support in men and now in material in terms of weapons and ammunition.

According to Kashmir Media Service, at a time when the entire world community including the International Court of Justice has brought Israel to court of justice for massacring Palestinians, India has shipped 27 tons of lethal ammunition and explosives to Israel. India is among few countries, which are still allied with Israel in its massacre of the Palestinians. The Indian cargo ship, Marianne Danica, registered in Denmark, is currently en route to Ashdod, Israel, via a longer route that avoided the Red Sea.

The consignment includes precision munitions and dirty bombs, which are expected to be used in the Rafah bombing, where millions of Palestinians have camped in the open. The ship made a port call at Port Grande, Cape Verde, and Spain, but was refused entry by Spanish authorities, who refused to be a part of the “extermination of innocent civilians.”

India’s role as a strategic supplier of munitions to Israel has become increasingly pivotal in the escalating conflict between Israel and Iran-backed Hamas. However, this arms diplomacy has raised questions about India’s balancing act in the Middle East, particularly given its recent agreement to operate the strategic port of Chabahar with Iran, an adversary of Israel.

India’s partnership with Israel in defense and security realms has been significant, with Israel being one of India’s top arms suppliers. Indian companies, including Adani-Elbit Advanced Systems India Ltd. and Munitions India Ltd., have been instrumental in exporting munitions to Israel, despite international criticism.

The development has sparked concerns about the implications of India’s arms exports and the broader ramifications of the fragile peace process in the region

Defense analyst Brigadier (retired) Rashid Walin Janjua condemned India’s decision to supply weapons to Israel, stating in a TV interview that India has become a partner in the genocide of unarmed Palestinians in Gaza. He revealed that India sent a cargo ship loaded with weapons and ammunition to Israel, which is facing a shortage, but Spain refused to allow the ship to dock. He said that it is shameful for India that instead of providing the needy Palestinians with food and other life necessities it is arming aggressor Israel with sophesticated weapons to kill them in displaced camps.

He said that it is shameful for India that instead of providing the needy Palestinians with food and other life necessities it is arming aggressor Israel with sophisticated weapons to kill them in displaced camps. The defence analyst said that this has exposed the true face of so-called democratic face of India.
