Jammu: Indian troops launched a cordon and search operation in Kathua district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir Tuesday evening.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the troops launched the operation in Seda Sohal area of Heeranagar in the district.

In this regard, Indian officials said that the operation was started after some gunshots were heard in village Seda Sohal around 7:45pm today evening. There were no reports of any injuries as of now.

The whole area has been cordoned and searches have been launched, said the officials
