APHC leaders extend Eid greetings, appeal for support to victims of Indian state terrorism

New Delhi: Incarcerated senior leader of All Parties Hurriyat Conference, Shabbir Ahmad Shah, while extending Eid-ul-Adha greetings to the entire Muslim Ummah, particularly the Kashmiri Muslims, has appealed to the wealthy people to support those affected by the Indian state terrorism in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

According to Kashmir Media Service, Shabbir Ahmad Shah in a message from notorious Tihar Jail in New Delhi deplored that the Modi regime was inflicting the worst atrocities on the people of IIOJK for demanding the internationally recognized right to self-determination.

He maintained that New Delhi was busy trying to crush the freedom struggle of Kashmiris through tyrannical measures, adding the people in the occupied territory were being mercilessly killed and arrested for raising their voice of freedom. Innocent Kashmiris are made to rot in jails by implicating them in false cases, he lamented. Shabbir Ahmad Shah said that the Modi regime was employing colonial and evil tactics to suppress the Kashmiris’ struggle based on truth.

The APHC leader urged the Kashmiris to prioritize the needs of martyrs’ families, the families of detained Kashmiris and other victims of Indian state terrorism, emphasizing the importance of sacrifice and simplicity during Eid-ul-Adha.

Similarly, another illegally detained senior leader of the APHC, Molvi Bashir Ahmed Irfani felicitated the Kashmiri Muslims on Eid-ul-Azha. In his message, he urged people to take special care of the victims of Indian state terrorism on this joyous occasion. He highlighted the plight of Kashmiri Hurriyat leaders, activist, journalists, students, ulema and human rights defenders languishing for year in various Indian jails and interrogation centers. He urged people not forget these detainees, facing the worst form of political vendetta for their rightful political beliefs. Irfani saluted the Kashmiri detainees’ courage and determination.
