Mirwaiz reiterates Kashmir solution through negotiations
Srinagar: All Parties Hurriyat Conference senior leader Mirwaiz Umar Farooq has reiterated the demand for settlement of the long-pending Kashmir dispute through negotiations.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq talking to the media in Srinagar said Kashmiris are the fundamental party to the Kashmir dispute and they should be included in the dialogue process.
He said military might is not a solution to the conflicts, adding meaningful and result-oriented dialogue can only resolve the issues.
Mirwaiz Umar Farooq also welcomed the US support for negotiations between India and Pakistan for settling all the issues, including Kashmir.
He also strongly condemned the ban on the offering of Eid prayers in the historic Jamia Masjid, Srinagar, Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir by the authorities.
