Kupwara jail blast-injured inmate succumbs to injuries
Srinagar: A blast-injured inmate succumbed to his injuries in Kupwara hospital of the Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, at least nine inmates were injured in a gas cylinder blast on 19th June in Kupwara jail.
All the injured were shifted to Kupwara hospital and, among them one identified as Shahnawaz Ahmad Shah of Sopore, succumbed to his injuries on Monday morning.
The explosion was said to be of a cooking gas cylinder while further investigation is going on.
