Srinagar: Five Indian troops, including a Junior Commissioned Officer (JCO), were killed when a tank met with an accident in Leh district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir,
According to Kashmir Media Service, the troops died when a T-72 tank met with an accident during an exercise near the Line of Actual Control (LAC). The incident occurred around 3 am near Mandir Morh area, with Indian media channels confirming the recovery of all five bodies.
The T-72 tank with five soldiers on board sank due to flash floods while they were crossing the river in the Daulat Beg Oldie sector, Indian officials said.
