IIOJK administration suspends Muslim Naib Tehsildar during Amarnath Yatra
Srinagar: New Delhi-installed administration in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir has suspended a Muslim Naib Tehsildar in Islamabad district for being absent from duty during the ongoing Hindu Yatra.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Naib Tehsildar Owais Amir, who was stationed in the Pahalgam area of the district, was on leave when Hindu pilgrims arrived in Pahalgam.
The BJP-led authorities cited his absence as disrupting the smooth conduct of the Amarnath Yatra.
“Owais Amir, Naib Tehsildar Pahalgam, is hereby placed under suspension for leaving the station without permission and sabotaging the ongoing Yatra,” the order issued by Deputy Commissioner Islamabad stated.
