Protest in Athens against Indian state terrorism in IIOJK
Athens: The Pakistan-Kashmir community in Athens, Greece, staged a powerful protest outside the Greek Parliament today, condemning India’s state terrorism in occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the protest was attended by a large number of Pakistani and Kashmiri expatriates, including Kashmiri leaders Altaf Hussain Wani and Sardar Amjad Yousuf.
The protesters chanted slogans against India’s oppressive policies and state terrorism, urging the international community to take notice and play its role in stopping India’s atrocities in occupied Kashmir. They also demanded an end to the illegal occupation of Kashmir by Indian forces.
Speakers at the protest condemned India’s brutal suppression of the Kashmiri people’s right to self-determination, calling it a violation of human rights and international law. They emphasized the need for the international community to hold India accountable for its actions in Kashmir.
The protest was peaceful, but the anger and frustration of the protesters were palpable. They vowed to continue their struggle until Kashmir is free from Indian occupation.
