Karachiites hold rally to commemorate 8th martyrdom anniversary of Burhan Wani
Karachi: On the eighth Martyrdom anniversary of Martyr Burhan Muzaffar Wani people of Karachi under the leadership of All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) hold a rally to pay homage to youthful martyr of Kashmir and other martyrs of Kashmir who laid their lives for the sacred cause of freedom from Indian clutches.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Convener APHC AJK chapter Ghulam Muhammad Safi led the rally taken out in the provincial capital Karachi while thousands of people including leaders of political, religious and social parties of Pakistan participated in the rally.
Leaders of the APHC- Azad Kashmir chapter, Advocate Pervez Ahmed, Ejaz Rahmani, Raja Khadim Hussain and Imtiaz Wani also participated in the rally. The participants of the rally also marched from the Karachi Arts Council to the Press Club.
Leader of Pakistan People’s Party Saeed Ghani, Aminul Haq of Muttahida Qaumi Movement, Pervez of Jamaat-e-Islami, Raja Azhar, Mufti Usman, Saleem Ilyas, Abdul Rahman, Dr. Sabir Abu of Palestinian Foundation, Dr. Maryam, Azad Kashmir Minister Amir Ghaffar Lone, People’s Party Lawyers Forum President Qazi Bashir and others participated. On this occasion slogans of freedom from Indian rule of Jammu and Kashmir were also raised.
The participants of the rally carried banners with pictures of Burhan Muzaffar Wani.
