APHC-AJK to take out rally in Lahore on July 19

Islamabad: The Azad Jammu and Kashmir chapter of the All-Parties Hurriyat Conference is organizing a rally in Lahore on July 19 in connection with Pakistan’s Accession Day.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the rally will begin at 5:00 pm from Masjid Shuhada to Punjab Assembly in Lahore.

APHC-AJK Information Secretary, Mushtaq Ahmed Butt in a statement requested all political, social and religious parties of Pakistan, as well as people from every walk of life to participate in the rally.

The event aims to show that the entire Pakistani nation stands in support of Kashmiris and considers Kashmir an integral part of Pakistan. The rally also honors the sacrifices of Kashmiris who have fought for their right to self-determination.

Mushtaq Ahmed Butt appealed to the people to participate in the rally with their friends and family to strengthen their bond with Kashmir.

Kashmiris living either side of the Line of Control (LoC) and rest of the world will observe Kashmir’s Accession to Pakistan Day on Friday with a renewal of the pledge to continue the struggle for the achievement of the right to self-determination and to translate the idea of accession of entire Jammu and Kashmir to Pakistan under the spirit of the historic resolution passed this day in Srinagar in 1947.
