Modi regime following communal agenda in IIOJK: Mehbooba Mufti
Srinagar: People’s Democratic Party (PDP) chief Mehbooba Mufti on Tuesday criticized the Modi-led Indian government over adhering to a communal agenda in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Mehbooba Mufti in a video message said that the Modi government is terminating Muslim employees from government jobs on baseless grounds.
The PDP chef accused the Modi regime of failing to prevent casualties and blamed the current Director General of Police (DGP) for the maximum casualties in the last 32 months. She demanded accountability and action against those responsible for the security lapses.
Her remarks came a day after five Indian soldiers including an officer, were killed in Doda district.
Mufti also said that the current DGP is busy “fixing things politically” and targeting her party, journalists, and common people. She called for a change in leadership and an end to the “weaponization” of verification and the imposition of the Unlawful Activities Prevention Act (UAPA) on innocent people.
