Indian Defence Minister seeks update from army chief on Doda operation
New Delhi: Indian Defence Minister Rajnath Singh today spoke to Indian Army Chief General Manoj Pande regarding the ongoing violent military operations in Doda, occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the Minister sought an update on the ground situation and the operational details of the ongoing CASOs.
Singh enquired about the safety of the troops in the area.
The development comes after the killing of at least five Indian troops including an officer in the area.
Singh’s call to the army chief reflects the frustration among high officials of the Indian government, as the incident has deflated the peace mantra of the Modi regime in occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
