Indian police arrest prominent Hurriyat leader in Srinagar
Srinagar: Indian police today arrested a prominent Hurriyat leader Mushtaq-ul-Islam in Srinagar district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Mushtaq-ul-Islam was arrested by Indian police during a raid on his residence in Batamaloo area of Srinagar city.
The leader was released after a long time last month from a jail in Uttar Pradesh, India.
Mushtaq-ul-Islam, who is called a jail bird, has spent over 25 years in jail since 1983.
The leader was sent to an unknown location, as per media reports.
