SIMI’s former president Dr Shahid Falahi passes away in India
New Delhi: Dr. Shahid Badar Falahi, the last president of the Student Islamic Movement of India (SIMI), a Muslim student organization banned by the Indian government, has passed away.
Dr. Falahi was a prominent leader and mentor to many young Muslims in India, working towards reviving Islamic values. Despite facing numerous challenges, including imprisonment and trials, Dr. Falahi remained committed to his faith and principles. His efforts played a significant role in raising Islamic awareness and consciousness among Muslim youth in India.
Dr. Falahi’s passing has been met with an outpouring of condolences from those who knew him and were inspired by his work.
