India has illegally occupied Kashmir for past 76 years Eng Amir Maqam

Islamabad: Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs, Gilgit Baltistan and SAFRON Eng Amir Muqam has directed all the departments concerned to work in harmony for observing Yaum-e-Istehsal on August 5.

According to Kashmir Media Service, Amir Muqam, chairing a review meeting regarding preparations for Yaum-e-Istehsal, said India has forcibly occupied Jammu and Kashmir for over 76 years.

He said after the illegal actions of August 5, 2019, the special status of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) was abolished against all UN resolutions and the will of the Kashmiri people. Pakistan will continue to extend its unwavering support to its Kashmiri brothers and sisters, he added.

The minister said the voice of the Kashmiris will be conveyed to the entire world and the Pakistani nation will continue to pursue the just settlement of Jammu & Kashmir dispute.

Amir Muqam directed all the relevant institutions to work together in harmony to observe Youm-e-Istehsal in an effective manner and also advised ensuring maximum participation of the public.

The representatives of federal ministries, provincial governments, Gilgit-Baltistan, Azad Jammu & Kashmir Government and various departments briefed the minister regarding preparations for “Youm-e-Istehsal”, said a press release.
