Protesting students reveal authorities are hiding real death toll at Delhi coaching centre

New Delhi: Protesting students have made a shocking revelation that authorities are hiding the actual number of fatalities in the recent coaching centre tragedy in Old Rajinder Nagar, New Delhi, claiming that several students remain unaccounted for and disputing the official death toll.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the protesters met with Delhi Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena and demanded immediate compensation for the families of the deceased, as well as a full investigation into the incident. They also sought information on every student who was inside the coaching centre’s basement when it flooded.
The police maintain that only three students died in the tragedy and that there is nothing to hide. However, students have contradicted the claim , citing concerns about the whereabouts of their missing friends and the lack of transparency from authorities.
The incident has raised several unanswered questions, including the fate of students who were rescued and the accuracy of the official death toll. The students have demanded that the biometric entry data be shared and tallied with those rescued to determine the exact number of casualties.
