Posters again appear in IIOJK, urge people to observe Aug 5 as Black Day
Srinagar: Posters have appeared once again in Srinagar and other parts of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, urging people to observe August 5, Youm-e-Istehsal Kashmir, as a Black Day.
According to Kashmir Media Service, on August 5, 2019, the New Delhi-controlled Hindutva BJP government revoked Article 370 and 35 A that granted special status to the internationally recognised disputed territory and imposed a brutal military and police siege.
Posters with pictures of illegally detained All Parties Hurriyat Conference leaders Massarat Alam Butt, Shabbir Ahmed Shah, Muhammad Yasin Malik, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, Aasiya Andrabi and Nayeem Ahmed Khan have appeared in Srinagar and other parts of the territory, rejecting the illegal and unilateral Indian actions of August 5, 2019.
The posters, displayed by different Hurriyat parties, said masses of Jammu and Kashmir are demanding reversing of actions of 5th August 2019, including abrogation of articles 370 and 35A, settlement of the Kashmir dispute as per the United Nations resolutions, release of all political detainees and end to human rights violations by Indian troops in IIOJK.
The posters are also seen on social media, including WhatsApp, twitter, Facebook and Instagram.
