Jammu: Indian troops launched cordon and search operation in Jammu district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.s
According to Kashmir Media Service, the troops during operations opened fire in Akhnoor and Sunderbani areas of the district. The massive search operations were under way in both areas, Indian police officials said.
The security has been beefed up across Jammu and Kashmir in view of the fifth year of the abrogation of Articles 370 and 35 A by Indian government, which granted a special status to occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
