Tribute paid to Ali Gilani, Ashraf Sehrai on TeH founding day
Islamabad: A seminar was held in Islamabad on the founding day of Tehreek-e-Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, speakers on the occasion paid tribute to the founder and leader Syed Ali Gilani and former head Muhammad Ashraf Sahrai.
The seminar, presided over by Ghulam Muhammad Safi, convener of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir chapter, featured Dr. Muhammad Mushtaq Khan, Amir Jamaat-e-Islami Azad Jammu and Kashmir, as the chief guest.
Dr Mushtaq praised the leaders’ services as a beacon of light for the Kashmiri people, highlighting their dedication to the freedom struggle and their perseverance.
The speakers also honored the martyrs of Kashmir and demanded the immediate release of detained Hurriyat leaders, activists, and youths in occupied Jammu and Kashmir and India.
Among those who participated in the seminar include Mehmood Ahmad Sagar, Advocate Pervez Ahmed, Sheikh Abdul Mateen, Mushtaq Ahmad Butt, Syed Ejaz Rahmani, Imtiaz Wani, Raja Khadim Hussain, Muhammad Shafi Dar, Sheikh Muhammad Yaqoob, Zahid Safi, Haji Sultan Butt, Sheikh Abdul Majid, Gulshan Ahmed, Abdul Majeed Lone, Syed Mushtaq, Muhammad Ashraf Dar, Dawood Yousafzai, Adeel Mushtaq Wani, Khurshid Ahmed Mir, Muhammad Ashraf Dar, Mian Muzaffar, Afser Khan, Manzoorul Haque Butt, Abdul Hameed Lone, Abdul Majeed Mir, Babar Ahmed, Arif Hussain, Qazi Imran, Rais Ahmed Mir, Imtiaz Butt and Attaullah.
