‘India’s stubbornness main reason of unresolved Kashmir dispute’
Islamabad: The All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir (APHC-AJK) chapter has appreciated the statement of Foreign Office Spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch in which she said India is involved in war crimes and genocide in occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, APHC-AJK chapter General Secretary Advocate Parvaiz Ahmad Shah in a statement issued in Islamabad said the FO Spokesperson has openly expressed that Pakistan is neither holding any bilateral talks with India nor is there any negotiation about trade across the Line of Control.
He said with this statement, all rumours have ended, in which it was said that there were talks between the two countries about trade along the Line of Control.
He said Pakistan has always played its role to highlight the Kashmir dispute at the global level and is desirous of a just and sustainable solution to the Kashmir dispute but due to India’s rigid Kashmir policy this long-pending issue has remained unresolved for the past seven decades.
The Hurriyat leader said Pakistan has advocated the Kashmir dispute in every forum of the world, including the United Nations, and has given moral, political and diplomatic support to Kashmiris.
Advocate Parvaiz Ahmad said the Kashmiri people are grateful to Pakistan, which has always played its role in highlighting the Kashmir dispute at every forum in the world. He said that India itself had taken the Kashmir issue to the United Nations and had assured before the international community to settle it.
He said unless the Kashmir dispute is resolved according to the UN resolutions and aspirations of the Kashmiri people, permanent peace cannot be established in South Asia.
He urged the international human rights organizations and the United Nations General Secretary to play their role in resolving the Kashmir dispute to save South Asia from a nuclear conflict.
