Fire breaks out at a hotel in Srinagar
Srinagar: A fire broke out in the attic portion of a hotel near Abdullah Bridge in Srinagar, the capital of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).
According to Kashmir Media Service, the fire has been controlled and no life was lost in the incident, an official said, adding that the hotel was partially damaged in the incident.
“The control room received information at 1:40 that a fire incident had occurred here. We have three nearby stations; we pressed all three into service. When we reached here, we saw that there is a five-story structure named Hotel Lucky Akbar, the attic portion here was involved in the fire. Instantly, we launched a firefighting operation and our firefighters contained the fire. Fortunately, no life was lost in the incident,” Assistant Director Fire Services Aqib Hussain Mir told the media person at site.
