‘Separate flag and constitution, restoration of 370’: BJP labels NC manifesto as ‘anti-India’
New Delhi: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has slammed the National Conference (NC) manifesto as “anti-India” and accused the Congress party of supporting “divisive and separatist ideas”.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the NC manifesto calls for a separate flag and constitution for opccupied Jammu and Kashmir, as well as the restoration of Article 370.
BJP leaders Tarun Chugh and Virendra Sachdeva held a press conference to condemn the Congress party for aligning with the NC, which they claim seeks to fracture the nation. Chugh alleged that the NC’s manifesto aims to reintroduce armed resistance in occupied Jammu and Kashmir and questioned Congress’s support for these provisions.
