Indian CRPF head constable commits suicide in Chhattisgarh
Raipur: An Indian head constable of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) committed suicide in disturbed Chhattisgarh state of India.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the CRPF head constable, Vipin Chandra, committed suicide by shooting himself with his AK-47 rifle in 195th battalion headquarters of Dantewada district.
According to the Indian officials, colleagues rushed him to the Dantewada district hospital but was declared dead upon arrival.
The CRPF is extensively deployed in the region against the Naxalite movement who are demanding end of political injustice, a separate homeland and independence from Indian hegemony in different states.
