Civilian narrowly escapes VDG firing in Rajouri
Jammu: A civilian was left unhurt after Indian army-backed terrorist squad, Village Defense Guard (VDG), opened fire on a man in the Rajouri district of occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the VDG terrorists fired in the Meira area of the district.
Indian officials claimed that VDG members observed suspicious movement in the Village this and took precautionary measures. However, the person was an innocent civilian who luckily escaped unhurt in the firing.
Soon after the incident, Indian forces launched a cordon and search operation in the area, officials added.
