Indian troops arrest seven Kashmiri youth in IIOJK
Srinagar: Indian troops, in their fresh acts of state terrorism, arrested at least seven Kashmiri youth in different areas of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the troops, during a cordon and search operation, arrested three youth in the Bijbehara area of Islamabad district. In another operation, Indian troops arrested four persons in the Billawar area of Kathua district, while one youth was arrested in the Basantgarh area of Udhampur district.
All the detained youth were shifted to different interrogation centers, the police said.
Hurriyat leaders and organizations in their statements issued in Srinagar denounced the continued arrests and detention of Kashmiri youth by Indian troops and urged the international community to take notice of these atrocities and pressurize India to respect the rights and freedoms of the Kashmiri people.
