According to Kashmir Media Service, speaking to reporters in Srinagar, Mufti asserted, “The Kashmir issue can only be resolved through reconciliation. The Government of India must engage with the people of Jammu and Kashmir in a genuine process of reconciliation.” She highlighted the critical need to address the Kashmir issue and called for the restoration of Article 370.
Mufti also urged New Delhi to release all political prisoners and Kashmiri youth currently detained in various jails across India.
