Parvez Shah welcomes Mirwaiz Umar Farooq’s remarks on Kashmir
Islamabad: The General Secretary of All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir (APHC-AJK) chapter, Advocate Parvez Ahmad Shah has welcomed the recent remarks of senior APHC leader Mirwaiz Umar Farooq that the Kashmiri people had not rendered sacrifices for the sake of interests.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Advocate Parvez Ahmad Shah in a statement issued in Islamabad said sacrifices require that the Kashmiri people should never support the tyrant for vested interests.
He said Mirwaiz Umar Farooq has truly pointed out to the Kashmiri people that the Kashmiri people did not make sacrifices for the so-called elections, because these elections are not the solution to the Kashmir dispute.
He said Mirwaiz Umar Farooq has warned the Kashmiri people that nowadays people in occupied Jammu and Kashmir have become tools of oppressors and are being used against their own people. Therefore, he said, the Kashmiri people have not let the sacrifices made in the last seven decades go waste and must remain united to take their right-based struggle against India to its logical conclusion.
Advocate Parvez Ahmad Shah said the solution of the Kashmir dispute can be done according to the resolutions approved by the United Nations.
He also urged India to stop the election drama and implement the United Nations resolutions on Kashmir so that the lingering dispute could be resolved.
