Another BSF man on election duty dies in IIOJK
Srinagar: An Indian Border Security Force (BSF) man died in Bandipora district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, a BSF personnel from the 75th battalion, identified as Barber Ram Babu Thakur, fell unconscious while on election duty in Gurez area of the district. He was immediately rushed to the hospital, where he was declared brought dead on arrival.
Thakur’s body has been referred to the Community Health Centre (CHC) Dawar for postmortem, and will be handed over to his family after medico-legal formalities.
The deceased was a resident of Salugara Bazar, Jalpaiguri district, West Bengal, India
