IIOJK HC to hear plea of Mirwaiz against prolong house arrest on Friday
Srinagar: The High Court of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir will hear a petition filed by senior All Parties Hurriyat Conference leader Mirwaiz Umar Farooq against his illegal house arrest on Friday.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq submitted a rejoinder in his ongoing lawsuit seeking permanent release from his house arrest.
The APHC leader has filed the petition in the IIOJK High Court challenging his house arrest.
The court is scheduled to hear the petition on Friday.
The APHC leader has been put under house detention for one month, and his movements are restricted. The petition stated and contradicted the BJP installed IIOJK administration’ claim that he is a free man.
