Over 70 houses gutted in Kishtwar fire incident
Jammu: More than 70 houses were burnt to ashes in a terrible incident of fire in the Kishtwar district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, a fire broke out in a house in Marwah area of the district which engulfed the surrounding houses and as a result over 70 houses were gutted.
Marwah is a remote area of Kishtwar district and due to lack of a road, fire service is facing difficulty in reaching the spot.
Media reports said senior officials have reached the spot and are assisting local people in their efforts to overcome the fire.
Efforts to control the fire were ongoing till last reports. No loss of life or property has yet been reported in the incident.
