Non-local found dead in Srinagar; Another injured in Tral
Srinagar: A non-local resident was found dead under mysterious circumstances in Srinagar, Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).
According to Kashmir Media Service, the body was recovered from the Gangbugh area on the outskirts of Srinagar city. The deceased has been identified as Zakir, a resident of West Bengal
The cause of death is being ascertained, Indian officials said.
In a separate incident, a non-local labourer was shot and injured in the Batagund area of Tral in south Kashmir. Reportedly, unidentified assailants were involved in the attack.
A senior Indian police official stated that the cause of the labourer’s injury is under investigation.
Soon after the incident, Indian troops launched searches in the area to locate the attackers.
