AAC condoles demise of Prof Abdul Wahid Qureshi
Expresses condolence with broadcaster Talha Jahangir
Srinagar: The Awami Action Committee has expressed deep sorrow and grief over the demise of renowned educationist and former Vice-Chancellor of Kashmir University, Professor Abdul Wahid Qureshi and described his demise as a big loss to the academic and literary circles.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the AAC in a condolence message paid glowing tributes to the decades-long educational services of the late Professor Qureshi, saying that his invaluable contributions as the head of Kashmir’s premier academic institution will always be remembered.
The AAC and its Chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq prayed to Almighty Allah for Jannat-ul-Firdous to the departed soul and patience for the bereaved family.
Meanwhile, the AAC expressed sorrow over the demise of the mother of renowned broadcaster Talha Jahangir Rehmani.
It conveyed condolences and sympathy to Talha Jahangir and the other family members and prayed for Jannat-ul-Firdous to the departed soul.
