India’s state-sponsored terrorism in Pakistan: A threat to regional stability

Islamabad: India has been actively involved in orchestrating terrorism in Pakistan to destabilize the country, with the 2014 Army Public School (APS) attack in Peshawar standing as a stark example of its state-sponsored terrorism.

According to Kashmir Media Service, India’s long-standing history of financing, planning, and executing terrorist activities in Pakistan is well-documented. Islamabad has repeatedly presented irrefutable evidence of these activities to the international community, yet the global response has largely remained muted.

India’s use of the banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) as a proxy against Pakistan underscores its malign intent. The heinous Army Public School (APS) massacre, in which innocent schoolchildren and staff were brutally killed, was orchestrated with the financial and strategic support of India’s Research and Analysis Wing. Investigations revealed clear links between the TTP attackers and the Indian consulate in Afghanistan, exposing RAW’s role in planning the tragedy.

Indian spy Kulbhushan Jadhav, arrested in 2016, serves as another glaring example of India’s direct involvement in subversive activities against Pakistan. His confession unveiled a web of espionage, targeted killings, and sabotage aimed at destabilizing the country.

India has also embraced hybrid warfare, leveraging media, cyber technologies, and terrorism as tools to undermine Pakistan. Under the extremist Modi regime, Indian embassies have become hubs for covert operations, with spies operating under diplomatic cover. These rogue actions, combined with state-sponsored terrorism, pose a grave threat to regional and global stability.International norms have been blatantly violated, not just in Pakistan but globally. The assassination of Sikh leader Hardeep Singh Nijjar in Canada, orchestrated by Indian agents, is a recent example of India’s extraterritorial rogue actions.

It is imperative for the international community to abandon its silence and hold India accountable for its actions. The unchecked spread of India’s state terrorism under Modi’s leadership threatens not only Pakistan but the entire region’s peace and stability. The world must act decisively to curb these aggressive policies and ensure adherence to international laws.
