Hindu extremists attack Pakistani restaurant in Sheffield, UK
Sheffield, UK: A group of Hindu extremists stormed a Pakistani restaurant in Sheffield, UK, harassing staff and causing damage to the property.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the attack, which has been described as religiously motivated, was caught on video and has since gone viral on social media.
Restaurant owner Rahimullah Khan reported that the group of Indian nationals, visibly intoxicated, caused a ruckus after dining. They falsely accused the restaurant staff of serving beef mixed with cow meat, creating chaos at the counter.
The extremists then went on to damage glass windows and other items in the restaurant. Khan stated that the restaurant had never included beef on its menu. Despite this, the intoxicated individuals became aggressive and attacked the workers.
Following the incident, the perpetrators were arrested, and British police are conducting further investigations into the attack.
The attack has sparked widespread concern about the rise of Hindutva extremism in Europe and beyond since the Modi government came to power in India in 2014. KMS-10K
