Indian forces desecrate Holy Quran during raid in Srinagar Central Jail
Srinagar: In a shocking act of blasphemy, Indian occupational forces’ personnel desecrated the Holy Quran during a raid at Central Jail Srinagar, triggering widespread outrage among prisoners and general masses in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, eyewitnesses described the scene as harrowing, with the sacred Quran thrown across the barracks in a deliberate show of disrespect. Prisoners who entered the barrack were left horrified by the sight, describing the desecration as an intentional act of provocation and sacrilege on part of the Indian occupation forces.
Overcome with grief and indignation, the prisoners confronted the raiding party responsible for the desecration. The intense altercation highlighted the deep emotional and spiritual injury caused by this heinous act.
Rights groups and religious leaders have condemned the desecration as part of a broader pattern of systematic targeting of Kashmiri identity and religious beliefs under Indian occupation.
The incident has intensified calls for accountability, with many demanding an impartial investigation and strict action against the perpetrators. Kashmiri political and religious leaders have urged the international community and Muslim-majority nations to take note of the incident and pressure India to respect the religious sentiments of the people of occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
