NC leadership has forgotten its promises after assuming power in IIOJK: Agha Hadi
Srinagar: A renowned religious scholar in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Agha Syed Hadi has said that the leadership of the National Conference, after coming into power, has forgotten its promises made with people before the so-called elections.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Agha Hadi addressing a function in Srinagar said that the NC leadership, which promised to give Kashmiris their rights, has now become the spokesperson for the Indian rulers and instead of talking about the rights of the territory, is resorting to various excuses.
He said the people to whom the Kashmiris have given a mandate to restore their rights and identity, are now saying that they cannot fight the Indian government. He said if these people cannot fight for the rights of Kashmiris, then they have no right to remain in power and should quit power and go home so that Kashmiris can choose their new leadership.
Agha Hadi said that it was clear from day one that Kashmiris had to fight for their rights and identity. “Those who have taken away your rights will not give them back easily, but you have to fight for it. You will not get these rights by begging, but you will have to take them away. Even a child understands that since 2014 and especially since 2019, it has been a clear policy that the rights of Kashmiris are to be taken away and if we want to get our rights, we will have to fight for them,” he maintained.
