Mysterious deaths’ toll rises to 17 in Rajouri
Jammu: Another girl has died mysteriously in Budhal village of Rajouri district in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, taking the number of such deaths in the area to 17.
According to Kashmir Media Service, this series of mysterious deaths in Budhal has been going on for more than forty days. Many women and children are also among the dead.
Indian media reports said that the girl who died today was the daughter of Muhammad Aslam, a resident of the area. Earlier, five of his children had died mysteriously and this was their last child who died today.
Yasmina Jan, daughter of Mohammad Aslam, who died today, was taken to GMC, Rajouri, last Sunday from where she was referred to GMC, Jammu, for advanced treatment on Monday. However, she died this evening during treatment, thus losing all her six children. Apart from Aslam’s four daughters and two sons, an uncle and an aunt are also among the deceased.
So far, no evidence of any disease or viral infection has been found. However, there is an atmosphere of extreme fear and terror in the village. People are unhappy with the administration. They say that the administration is indifferent to the matter and has not taken any concrete action yet to find out the reason for the mysterious deaths.
Due to the negligence and carelessness of the administration, people are facing a severe uncertainty. KMS—16A
