Observing R-Day as Black Day will once again expose India’s ugly face: Speakers
Muzaffarabad: Speakers at a seminar in Muzaffarabad have said that observing India’s so-called Republic Day as Black Day, will once again expose the ugly face of India.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the seminar “Jammu and Kashmir Independence Movement and Our Responsibilities” was organized by All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir chapter and Ittehad-e-Islami Jammu and Kashmir.
They said the people of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir will never accept the slavery of a cruel and oppressive country like India under any circumstances.
The speakers said India is trying to turn the majority of Kashmiris into a minority in occupied Jammu and Kashmir, which the Kashmiris will resist with full force. The Kashmiri people had resolved to join Kashmir with Pakistan before the creation of Pakistan and are still working on it, they added.
They further said India itself took the Kashmir dispute to the United Nations and now is running away from implementing the promise made to the Kashmiris.
The Kashmiri people have been struggling for their freedom and right to self-determination for decades against India’s illegal occupation, they said, adding the Kashmiri people will continue their struggle for their birthright till taking it to its logical end.
The sacred blood of Kashmiri martyrs will not be allowed to go waste and their sacrifices for freedom cannot be forgotten under any circumstances, they maintained.
The speakers included All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir (APHC-AJK) chapter General Secretary Advocate Pervez, Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Dr Raja Muhammad Mushtaq Khan, Chairman of Ittehad-e-Islami Jammu and Kashmir Manzoor Ahmed Shah and Hurriyat leader Mushtaq-ul-Islam.
