Madrasa students forced to chant “Jai Shri Ram” in Bihar’s Banka district
Banka: A video from the Barahat block in Banka district, Bihar, has gone viral, showing madrasa students being forced to chant “Jai Shri Ram”.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the video has sparked widespread outrage, with social media users tagging Bihar Police and Banka Police, demanding a swift investigation into the incident.
The Banka Police have confirmed that an investigation is underway and assured that those responsible will face strict action, and reported the arrest of four juvenile offenders in connection with the case.
Along with this, a peace committee meeting was held with both communities to maintain law and order situation in the region.
“Both parties assured their commitment to maintaining peace and order. Currently, the situation remains peaceful, and law and order are normal”, reads the post.
This alarming event has raised serious concerns about religious intolerance and the treatment of Muslims.
