Modi humiliated after President Macron ignores handshake bid at Paris event
Paris: Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi was humiliated after French President Emmanuel Macron rejected a handshake attempt by the Indian premier during the AI summit in Paris on Tuesday, footage from the event showed.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the video footage captured Modi extending his hand toward Macron, who did not reciprocate before engaging with other attendees.
Macron was seen exchanging pleasantries and greetings with European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, among other leaders.
The incident has sparked reaction on social media.
