Anjuman Auqaf and Nusrat-ul-Islam condole Dr. Sibtain Masoodi’s passing in Srinagar
Srinagar: Anjuman Auqaf Jamia Masjid Srinagar and Anjuman Nusrat-ul-Islam expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Dr. Ghulam Sibtain Masoodi, father-in-law of senior APHC leader, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the organizations held a joint condolence meeting in Srinagar, where condolences were conveyed. The meeting was attended by Anjuman Auqaf’s Vice President and Imam Hai of Jamia Masjid, Syed Ahmad Saeed Naqshbandi, Auqaf’s General Secretary Khwaja Altaf Ahmad Bhat, General Secretary of Anjuman Nusrat-ul-Islam Khurshid Ahmad Qadri, along with members and staff of both organizations.
Dr. Sibtain Masoodi, who passed away on Wednesday night after a prolonged illness, was remembered for his outstanding contributions as a physician, his professional excellence, and his lifelong dedication to humanitarian service, which earned him immense respect in the community.
Heartfelt condolences were extended to Mirwaiz, his family, and the Masoodi family, acknowledging the profound loss. Prayers were offered for the elevation of his soul and for strength and patience for the grieving family.
