Karra calls for united stand on restoration of IIOJK statehood
Jammu: Congress IIOJK chief Tariq Hameed Karra has called for a united stand on the restoration of statehood for Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Tariq Hameed Karra, in his speech in the IIOJK Assembly, stated, “In respect to this historic mandate, with one resolute voice, we must champion the restoration of statehood, rising above political divides.”
He further emphasized that statehood is not the privilege of any single political entity but the right of every citizen of IIOJK.
“It is a promise made to us on the floor of the Indian Parliament. Even more than this promise, it is the respect and dignity of the citizens of IIOJK.”
